External hemorrhoids is a common disease, which is located below the dentate line. It can be divided into connective tissue external hemorrhoids, varicose external hemorrhoids, inflammatory external hemorrhoids and thrombotic external hemorrhoids. The symptoms of external hemorrhoids are different according to different types. The symptoms of external hemorrhoids are characterized by the feeling of anal distention, sometimes the feeling of foreign bodies. Local infection will lead to perianal dampness and pruritus. If it is thrombotic external hemorrhoids or inflammatory external hemorrhoids, swelling and hard mass can be seen around the anus, with severe pain symptoms. If it is connective tissue hemorrhoids or varicose hemorrhoids, it shows soft masses around the anus, generally without pain. If the symptoms of external hemorrhoids are not particularly serious, conservative and drug treatment can be carried out. Pay attention to diet, avoid drinking a lot and avoid stimulating food. Apply Taining cream locally ointments for external use, fumigate and wash with traditional Chinese medicine, such as gallnut soup or Kushen Decoction; or take orally drugs to improve microcirculation, such as maizhiling. If the thrombus is formed in the external hemorrhoids, the thrombotic external hemorrhoids should be treated by operation actively, and thrombectomy can be performed.
